We Love Claude

Directory

The unified directory for browsing and installing skills, connectors, and plugins.

What it is

The Directory is the one place to browse everything that customises Claude: skills, connectors, and plugins. Before it existed, each lived in its own menu. Now they share a unified view so you can find what you want without hopping between surfaces.

On Team and Enterprise plans, the Directory is also where skills shared across your organization appear — both those an owner has provisioned centrally and ones colleagues have published org-wide.

Where to find it

On desktop

  • Customize in the left sidebar.
  • Pick a tab — Skills, Connectors, or Plugins.
  • Click the + button, then Browse [skills / connectors / plugins].

On the web

  • claude.ai/customize — same tabs, same + → Browse entry point.

How to use it

Install a skill

  1. Customize → Skills+Browse skills.
  2. Find a skill. Click Install.
  3. It appears in Customize → Skills, enabled by default. Claude will use it automatically when relevant.
  4. Toggle it off any time — it stays available in the directory for later.

Skills installed from the directory are view-only. To change one, download a copy, modify, and upload it as your own.

Connect a service

  1. Customize → Connectors+Browse connectors.
  2. Click Connect on a service to kick off its auth flow.

Install a plugin

  1. Customize → Plugins+Browse plugins.
  2. Click Install. If your org runs a plugin marketplace, its plugins appear here too.

Browse what your organization shares (Team / Enterprise)

  1. In the Skills directory, switch to the Your organization tab.
  2. You’ll see skills provisioned centrally by owners and skills colleagues have shared org-wide.
  3. You can’t delete an org-shared skill from your list — only the original sharer or an org owner can remove it.

Good to know

  • Directly-shared skills bypass the directory. If a colleague shares a skill with you one-to-one, it lands straight in your skills list rather than the directory.
  • Org sharing is off by default. An owner has to enable Share with organization under Organization settings → Skills before anyone can publish org-wide.
  • Separate toggle for 1:1 sharing. The Skill sharing toggle lets colleagues share skills with specific people without publishing them to the whole org.
